Greenscreen
Privacy Policy
The Greenscreen bot will, when commanded, connect to the Discord Voice Channel specificed by the user. It will receive voice packet updates. Nothing is done with the collected voice data, it is completely ignored. The bot will watched for 4 events: user connect, disconnect, start speaking, and stop speaking. These events, with the relevant Discord User IDs attached, will be sent over a WebSocket connection. This is necessary for the function of the bot: providing speaking status updates to end clients, such as streaming overlays.
Information about connection status and speaking state is sent over the WebSocket stream, which is publicly available and has no authentication. Again, no actual voice or audio data is transmitted anywhere, it is received from Discord and ignored by the bot. Still, the User IDs of anyone who connects to the Voice Channel the bot is in will be transmitted on a public WebSocket stream. Please ensure you receive permission from everyone in the channel before adding the bot to a call.
Information about Discord slash commands are used by the bot to perform its function. This information is logged to aid development, but is not shared.
FTL Development will never share any logged data with any party unless legally required to do so.
